You mean I could not "time it" and just do a tumble roll onto the ground? (Or a gainer into water?)

I thought that was a sound Newtonian principle about jumping when you see the 2nd Floor button light up in an elevator freefall? That was always my plan there too.

I do see your point about the forward thrust of jumping-- couldn't you just jump up and back to negate that motion?

HELP ME MAN-- I need some assurance so I do not have to fear flying or elevators!!!
