Mohan

Dial-up cost. There is no dial up cost for people who live in most of the metros but
there is a dial-up cost for those who connect from other areas.

There is a cost of Rs.2 for the first 3 (or 5) mins. and some additionla cost for every minute thereafter. Not much but not as good as here where the cost is ZERO (except the line charges). Thats why we can affors to keep our Internet connection 24 hours a day.

'Hot-male' & De.

"My friends in the Draper India fund tell me that there is definitely talent in India, but no great ideas for new products - which is where the value and money lies."Sabeer obviously knows the Indian lacunae: "Even though India has better software skills - because they have a better Internet environment.

I have always insisted that the Indian government should privatise the Internet infrastructure market to bring better quality and prices to Indian consumers and businesses."He says, "Just think - Hotmail could just as easily have been based in India, but the conditions turned out to be more favourable in Sunnyvale, California! The entrepreneurial spirit has to live.

Positive Value of IGNORANCE?Uttama, Madhyama, Adhama and Adhamaadhama.

Excerpts.

The most learned man of his times, and arguably, of all times, was Socrates who declared that "the only thing I know is the fact of my ignorance.

"I see ignorance not as lack of knowledge but as an essential spur to knowledge. The difference between the two is the presumption of specific knowledge that it has, while ignorance is saddled only with questions with the need to find the answer. As one moves from one level of knowledge to another, that person finds that one answer to one question raises more questions."
