The above Companies without symbols are either private or I was unable to locate them.

I have to admit I was quite impressed with the number of partners that has been aligned by Sand and their partners. Surely all these and the availability of the Windows NT & W-95,98 versions will generate the revenues to make this stock be a profitable investment for us.

Next I will work on a list of Sand's products, because they have increase dramatically this year. I know they now have the following available for shipment:

Nucleus Exploration Suite:
Nucleus (for UNIX)
Nucleus for W-95,98
Nucleus for Windows NT
DB2 accelerator (for any OS/390 running DB2 decision support systems)
(and is thru Hitachi with 3 systems packages) and runs on some IBM products.

Hope this helps to organize some of the press releases and gives us a better idea of where Sand is heading.

Cognos, a Sand partner thru the Hitachi line-up in the U.K. get a good review:

Cognos(R) Ranked as Number One Business Intelligence Vendor by DM Review Readers

August 31, 1998 07:59 AM

BURLINGTON, Mass., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Cognos(R) COGNF today announced that it has
been ranked the leading business intelligence vendor and number six company overall on the DM
Review "Data Warehouse 100" list. By ranking ahead of other business intelligence vendors such as
Business Objects, Seagate Software and Brio, Cognos reaffirms its position as the single strategic
and most influential vendor of business intelligence tools. Cognos offers comprehensive service and
support, industry savvy, a vision for the future, and best-of-breed and cost-effective business
intelligence solutions, including Web-based products for easy enterprise deployment.

The DM Review "Data Warehouse 100" provides a unique insight into the future of the data
warehousing and business intelligence market. The comprehensive survey, conducted jointly by DM
Review and Market Perspectives, a Massachusetts-based intelligence company serving the data
management industry, asked readers to rate vendors of data warehousing and business intelligence
products used in their organizations. More than 600 customer questionnaires were compiled into an
index that accounted for the mean rating, the number of responses, the comparative position of the
vendor in each product category and the number of categories in which the vendor's products
appeared.

"Cognos' high ranking on the 'Data Warehouse 100' list affirms that Cognos is one of the leading
business intelligence vendors," said Ron Powell, publisher of DM Review. "Our readers, the people
who truly recognize the value of applying business intelligence to a data warehouse, have recognized
Cognos, and the support and quality solutions it brings to the data warehousing and business
intelligence markets."

"DM Review's readers, like business managers industry-wide, recognize the value of business
intelligence tools as the primary means toward the fastest return on investment in their data
warehouse projects," said Rob Rose, Cognos vice president of Product Marketing. "This designation,
especially when coupled with Cognos' other industry awards, is a reflection of Cognos' leadership
position and ongoing commitment to our customers and partners. We are extremely pleased and
honored to receive this endorsement by actual buyers of data warehouse and business intelligence
products."

Cognos Chief Executive Officer Ron Zambonini will be profiled in the October 1998 issue of DM
Review, and featured again in the December 1998 issue spotlighting the CEOs of the "Data
Warehouse 100."

Have you or anyone reading this thread talked to Arthur Ritchie, Susan Waxman or Kevin Harrigan lately?

I don't think me or any of my contacts has heard a single word since the conference call on July 29. I am curious as to when the earnings will be released for this quarter, end of year earnings release date,
and any other info.

Please respond to me whether it be here, or a private message or email.
Thx in advance,
