>>>Do you have something personal against Greenspan?<<<

Lee:

I think Alan Greenspan is one of the most capable Fed Chairs we've ever had... He's doing what he is supposed to do, be a Devil's Advocate, to try and keep orderly markets...

Maybe I'm the only one who has this opinion but it seems obvious to me that for several years Greenspan's mantra has been Inflation... The market has gone up tremendously during that period with few bumps... Now, he is beginning to switch from an Inflation Mantra to a Deflation possibility... For me, that spells Change...

I like to keep things simple... I see world markets falling with the exception of Europe at the moment... I see great small caps with excellent earnings being cut in half... I see G.E. starting to take some hits... I see the Banking sector taking 40 to 50% hits... I see our largest trading partner, South America, going through an economic crisis... I connect all these dots and don't like what I see... This is not theory... This is what's happening... As such, I'll remain very cautious and keep listening to that little voice inside me that says "I'm the only one that truly has my best economic interests at heart"... While I respect Greenspan and Rubin, they have their own agendas... I have mine...
