Gary,

I've used $TICK for several years. It takes a lot for me to trade against it.

I have it set with 5-min candles. Invariably, TICK moves in bullish or bearish channels, generally in a 90-min to 2-hr cycle. Also using Sept SPUs which have been leading the market since the correction began.
