I am not talking the overall cost of the option...obviously if all things stay the same it doesnt matter how much you pay for a put if it goes down.....

I am talking about the IV and how they strip it.......I gave an example of it week before last.....on an SPX option.....like....SPX down 20 points and the option was around the same price some people paid for it the day before( when they bought it on a spike down) ...when the SPX was 20 points higher...(cant remember the exact numbers)

and A Kiri had it happen to him...as well as a few others...

that is why you MUST understand that being right about the direction ...doesnt always mean you make the corresponding money....

especially right now where they are manipulating the IV on those indices more the usual it seems

of course here is a couple of irreverant responses to the post that had this:

>>>God in the pits? God is my clearinghouse?
>
>What if the person on the other side of your trade is more pious than you?
>What if his (God forbid, her) God has more powerful juju than yours?
>
>Maybe you can arrange to just trade against Hindus, Moslems, Jews,
>Buddhists and aetheists. Then Jesus will take care of your account for you.
>
>But, then again, Jesus taught tolerance. What if Jesus doesn't agree with
you?
>

and another response:

trades wishes. Besides Jesus threw all the trades out of the temple didn't
he, probably my great, great , great uncle was in that crowd...LOL
