according to greeenspan's speech yesterday out west, he said the possiblity of a rate cut was real, but it depended on a number of things, including what our market and other markets did/do. i think he'd vote to cut well before a 20% drop, particularly if ours is the only market with the possiblity of showing some stability. regards

The rate cut is not to pump the stock market , but to save the world economy. The side effect of the rate cut is the bounce back steadily of the stock market !!!!!
