If my few remaining memory cells are still firing, most of Iran's
oil field infrastructure is arrayed roughly north and south along
their border with Iraq. Since Afghanistan lies to the east of Iran,
attacks would require flyovers the east-west length of Iran or
ground troop advances of the same length.
The Taliban organization seems capable of well executed guerrilla
or terrorist attacks, but even that sort of disruption would seem
difficult to pull off, given the wide-spread layout of Iran's
production and shipment zones, and their distance from Afghanistan.
You can figure that Saddam knows they're pretty close to his
border, though.

Just a thought.

Glad to hear there's another VTS aficionado (sp?) here, I'd be
buying that stuff by the bucket-load if I had the cash.
