Exactly right! Go back and listen to the song again, keeping in mind that the apostrophe is used to show possession! I think he was talking about responsibility, one of his favorite themes. He was a musical genius, IMHO, even though I hated where he went lyrically late in his life. Being an irreverent long haired art major punk college student in the late 60s, I was a big fan from day one, (first album), and saw him live on many occasions. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be "Uncle Meat" or "Hot Rats", but I really like all his music. ...or were you asking rhetorically?
