I too would have been screwed in AMZN except for one fact: I was never able to find stock to short. Tried at $40 (pre-split $80) and again at $80 and again at $125. I guess I'm happy.

Glenn, re: It has been a learning experience and one I will gain from in the future. OTOT Man, is that an understatement if ever I heard one. All my gains for the year were wiped out in 3 days. Only been trading full time since 1 May. I just consider it "another tuition payment in life's school of hard knocks". I made a lot of mistakes this year by being too greedy and falling in love with my stocks. I guarantee you this will not be repeated. Gary
