Gary, You can wait for a major low but TICK is really relative. There have been major rally days where TICK hasn't exceeded +400 and the same for selloffs. The candles form parallel channel movement. This means at least 4 relative highs and lows, 2 on top and 2 on the bottom. The actual number may be anywhere from over 1000 to under -1000. Can also "guess" a 4th pt reversal after 3 pts, 2 highs and one low or vice versa. The good thing about candles is it's easy to see a reversal at a suspected turning point. Alan
