LU_XUN,

Teledasic is for "Data transmission" which is ok for transmission delay. IRIDF and GSTRF are for mainly "Voice transmission" which is better with no delay in voice transmission at all (or one's ear can not tell the difference) with some degree of "Data stuff".

There is a huge difference between voice vs. data. You certainly needs to do more research in this area.

Good luck.

Brian H.

Mr. Xun:
I guess I don't get it. If Teledesic aims to provide worldwide high speed datalink by satellite, why won't that impact a voice network like I*? To piggyback digital voice on a data network seems almost trivial to me. After all, I could talk to you on the internet, couldn't I?
