Hello Eric. Hopefully the study is going to be fairly simple. We are going to compare the performance of S&P500 stocks that are in an uptrend (RS in X and above their BSL) against the S&P500 as a whole. A subset of stocks, based on the performance of their sector, will also be studied. We still have a few bugs to work out.
1) For the same Bullish Percent level, is a stock that is in a Bull Correct sector better than a stock in a Bear correct sector or are they the same.
2) How do we overcome the cap weighting in the S&P500 so that we are comparing apples to oranges.

Preston is putting together a S&P500 spreadsheet so that we can follow "unweighted results". I am putting together an Acess database
to track qualified and unqualified stocks. What we will need is a "fact checker", . maybe someone like yourself who can review the posts for math errors, logic errors etc. It's still in the formative stage. Any ideas you have are certainly welcome.
