Does anyone find it interesting how loudly the bears are shouting and how much attention they are now getting? It seems to me that if you shout crash long and loud enough, you are bound to occasionally be right. As for me, it would appear this down move is almost over. We should bounce again next week - the key is moving through 8000. If we don't we could retest 7400 area and maybe move to new low. And BTW, Roy Blumberg was the best CNBC ever had as was that economist from Business Week. And Barrons absolute 110% bearish tone (over last five years) makes up for CNBC 60% bullish attitudes. There are plenty of bears in CNBC.

djane,
Bears are everywhere! If in December the DOW is at 6500 and the NASDAQ is at 1200, I believe that ASND will still trade near 40 on two day rallies in a bear market. Therefore, I plan to ride out the worst they dream up!

The internet will grow in a bear market,

the first phase of the Ascend MaxVoice product description at:

asnet.co.nz
(good diagram)
=====

Imho: misc. thoughts: LU is being perceived now as way oversold in the short term, everywhere. ASND acquistion news will be +ve only for LU price, when its announced, if LU price remains in doldrums until then. Implications: ASND may rise on its own for a while (may be to 45-50 on aqui. expectation) and then rise even further after tieing the knot, until the marriage is consumated. Even though this feels like the rosiest of the outcomes for ASND longs, its the most likely, imho. (SRA paper behaved very similar to this, around and after ASND's announcement).

regards to all,
-/Sonny.
