but if Airbus was not subsidized by their governments, the superJumbo
project would bankrupt them... Believe me, Boeing canceling this
project is one of the very few right moves they have made...
As a matter of fact the Airbus commitment can only HELP Boeing...
If the project succeeds at all, it will be riddled with delays and
cost overruns... take my word ... no pay back.

As far a Condit is concerned, this is exactly the same situation
as with Robert Allen (sp?) at ATT... he HAS to be replaced. It
seems like the entire Board of Directors need some major house
cleaning... Absolutely pathetic

I just finished reading an article today that quotes airbus as saying that the development cost for the super jumbo, will be 10 bil., bet the cost keep going up.
