Your list looks pretty much like mine except CY ...
(CY seems to be the only one that is going up, and I don't
have it) ...

I bought it at 40-50% off their high, and now, it is cut
into half again ...
My portfolio is down 40% this year ...
almost need a double just to break even, and a 25% return a
year is respectable, something wrong with this picture ...

>>Same here: Going under in CS,LSI,VLSI,PAIR,CY,WDC,LRCX. Throw in some
stocks that fell through the margin floor such as CEPH, ALLP, GENZL. And you
have a serious recipe for disaster.

And I didn't buy at the high or anywhere near. All of these are getting treated like
they are going under, trading within a hair of or below their book value. Historic low
price to sales ratio, lowest price in 5 years, etc, blah,blah...
Nobody cares. Buy Dell. Pile on.<<

Share your pain with some of the same stocks. Got in when they looked so cheap to be sure things and still got absolutely hammered. My question now is whether this is an obvious capitulation bottom, or last phase of a dying bull market, with all liquidity getting sucked up by fewer and fewer stocks?

I have to believe the former.

BWAC: In Real estate it is location location location. I have now learnt the hard way that in the Stock Market it is Leaders, Leaders, Leaders.
