My motivation? I am a journalist. AWLT is part of my "beat." I cover wine stocks for my own web investment site and I write about other stocks (mostly internet, telecom and datacom) for CBS MarketWatch, Interactive Week, TechWeek and other publications. I've written 17 books (15 published, and two scheduled to come out in 1999. One of these, to be published by Avon Books, is on the wine industry including all the public companies.) I do not "hate the company or the CEO" as you state. Just because a journalist writes facts that people don't like doesn't mean they hate a company. I don't "hate" Beringer but they and some other public wineries were not happy with the pieces I wrote on the coming wine glut (on my site and at cbs.marketwatch.com
