Paul, what you and others are missing is that
the tech bears are running out of overvalued
tech stocks. INTC, MSFT, DELL, CSCO, AMAT, LU,
CPQ, GTW, XLNX, ALTR, LLTC and MU are about
what's left from thousands of tech stocks that
most are trading at book or even cash value.

Some tech bears (like Mike Burke) made millions
buying puts on some of these thousands that
crashed. At this point it doesn't make sense
to short NSM or AMD at or below book value so
INTC becomes a much better choice.

It's really not about which chip company has
better prospects but which one will provide
a better return on the short side.

It's very reasonable that the best companies
will be the last to fall but history is telling
us that it happens.
