To every thread - at least once in its existence - will come some wretchedly unhappy soul who is so starved for attention that he uses that thread solely as a means for gaining interaction with the human race. Its the guy who infests a vegetarian thread and advocates steaks and pork chops; the woman who joins a hunters mail list and pushes gun control; or the guy who bashes black people on a black culture list. They always pretend to be 'educating' the 'misguided' people on the thread. In reality he's learned that all he has to do is post a few moronic and incendiary comments and all of a sudden everyone's talking about him, writing him angry messages, manifestos, threats. Hey folks ... this is not about "gold" its just a guy who didn't get breastfed. Or maybe he had zits when he was a teenager. Or maybe his wife's not putting out. Anyway, it doesn't matter. Despite what he says ... he's only here cause he craves attention and he will remain here as long as he gets attention. Or therapy. Meanwhile the best policy is just to ignore his stunningly uninformed and relentlessly unenlightening posts. Over the past few days the volume of messages on GPM has exploded and most are 'yes it is!' 'No it AIN'T' 'Yes it IS' 'No it AIN'T'. Lets just give it a break. Unfortunately, even this message will feed his craving. (sigh)
