I saw him on TV recently. He makes a good case for his scenario. Would like to think that with the apparent capitulation going on by many investors we are nearing an end to this carnage. I have my shopping list ready.
I think I will get his book tomorrow. I'm already tired of football for this year.(:>)

TD, I still like my scenario. PPI was just reported as -.4, -.1 for a net ytd of -1.4%. PPI was -1.2% for 1997. CPI will come out next week with similar numbers probably dropping the ytd CPI to 1.5%, the 30 year bond yield to 5.00% and the FOMC will drop the rate by .25 on Sept 29. Between now and then lets hope Washington/Clinton gets settled. With any overall earnings encouragement the market will rally big.
A possible PM scenario looks like: 9/10 shareholder's meeting with news of major increases in new customer numbers(done), 9/30 quarter ends, 10/5 brokers know earnings will be significantly better than forecast and market is ready to improve so they start making buy recommendations, 10/12-16 quarterly report is issued with outstanding increases in sales, earnings and new customer count.
Have a good weekend and get some sleep, Sam
