I understand that, but what I'm looking at is that our whole world is based on people buying stuff. If they don't buy stuff we have a recession. So if you pay one guy 10 million dollars and his 160 employees minimum wage, you got one guy who can buy stuff, but if you pay the top dog 2 million dollars and split the rest up among the employees, you got 161 guys who can buy stuff.

This is all too simple, but the question I keep asking myself is if you keep concentrating the wealth among fewer and fewer people, who's going to buy the manufactured goods that our economic success depends on?

Well, at least we got that one right...

Some of my teacher buddies are in the $50K range (though not all).
This puts them more or less in the range of police officers.
...And judging by some of their stories, the job is fairly well equally dangerous these days...
