Yousef, RE:Well you overlooked the direct labor costs... Yes, I'm sorry, direct labor should also be included. Direct labor per wafer should not be significantly different for the two companies as a percentage of wafer cost. Does Intel pay more for labor? This is an interesting issue and I would love to be able to calculate their costs their with accuracy. RE:How about comparing Cost Of Sales(COS) between AMD and Intel versus CPU volume ? Yousef, if they broke out cost of sales in $ and unit volumes for both companies' MPU divisions in the upcoming Q, we would not be debating this issue. Bob
