My friend. the "point" that i was trying to make was that i actually LOVE "bear" markets!! every "bear" market that i have ever been through in the past has make me richer then i was before and this one (1) is - so far - doing exactly the same thing!! i am presently buying the "sh_t" out of "ARET" - "PRWT" - "TSIG" - "FNTN" - "CAGI" - "LTGL" and yes - "TSIS". i'm sorry, but i just do NOT see ANY reason at all to ever - EVER!! - "fear" a so-called "bear" market. to me it is just another GREAT money making OPPORTUNITY to make EVEN MORE MONEY in the stock market if - IF!! - a person knows how to TAKE ADVANTAGE of the "bear" market!! i still canNOT really believe - even after all these years of seeing it happen time and again with my own eyes - how people can so TOTALLY and ABSOLUTELY panic and simply "throw" their entire stock portfolios away for ridiculously low (IMO) prices!! i'm sorry, but it still just completely amazes me how so many so-called "sophisticated" stock market investors act like complete stock market FOOLS whenever there is even the slightest hint of a "bear" market coming - but they do - THEY REALLY DO!! anyway, it is late and i am very tired. i do thank you for responding to all of my prior post. i hope that we can continue to "philosophically-stroke" each other like this without either one (1) of us getting mad or upset with each other. i can (will) - for my part - absolutely promise to you that i will NEVER act like that!! you are a VERY interesting person to "trade" ideas with. i truly hope that you (and yours) have a very good "rest-of" the weekend. our stock market investment "strategies" are obviously quite different, but that does NOT mean that we cannot still become good friends. take care. I never knew it was so simple to predict the direction of the overall market, least individual stocks. I will phone Abby Cohen and tell her to throw out her sophisticated economic and financial models because a newletter writer has a 50-50 chance of being a hero. Even though they have been saying the same thing for 3 years and missed some 80% gains. Empirical evidence suggests NOBODY CAN TIME THE MARKET!! IMO this this is all noise. Allocate what you can sleep with in stocks, make sure they are trading at reasonable valuations, and let it ride. jmt
