It is very clear that the bridges,if any existed, have been torn down forever. I can't see cien/tlab ever getting an opportunity to do business with AT & T.

I guess I am cynical feeling there was a lu tie in. I also feel lu was promising delivery of equipment not even on the drawing board never mind in production. I had this experience over twenty years ago with the largest computer maker. They made promises of systems being available x date and we bought sub par systems expecting that based on their commitment they would deliver the faster system when we were up and running. Two years later they abandon the project as they couldn't deliver....

Thanks for posting that Washington Post article as well as the link.
I may as well cancel my subscription to the paper..LOL...hadn't opened yet :)
