Randy-- My point is that concrete questions and legitimate issues regarding strong US economy has been raised, but I find strange that counter arguments are more restricted to chart points rather than actual disccusions on merits of a move, or actual threat of global deflation. It is always like 'things have changed' from Oct but what has changed is unknown or never highlighted the kind of impact it may have on the markets is also never discussed. I see that most of the trading is carried out on sentiments, statements like 'we are going down'are in ample supply, it is here that even a fool can see that 990-910 is a region that has a background of consolidation of 6 months 'on and around Oct 97'- this region can only be taken out if confirmations from US earnings on big slow down take the supports off. New points are searched in total disrespect of traditional methods where previous resistances become new supports-- we had this 900-910 area on the strongest area of support when we had this move from 900 to 990..when I see 6000 or 5000 being waved in any contacts it may be I think it is non-sense. I as a bull have highlighted this point 950 many a times even today I think the bull trend is intact even at a test of 855 area the previous support in Oct. It is more a bear market discussiuon and I think we need it, as far as bulls and bears argument is concerned I don't have a specific thread in my mind, to be honest bull and bear argument is important for right kind of trade that's it. In my mind it is just an effort to make things little punishing for my own self if we go wrong, unfortuntely I don't get much time to read SI but the little I come across I find highly bearish sentiments, the positions I take sometime need some push from within myself to defend what I think are fundmamental issues, I think it is always good for solid trading to have some kind of view of the shorts as an opponents, one becomes more careful to place a trade, only in this context 'shorts' are good targets however if a bull is criticised I take no offense..
