I think it is a false choice to think we can love either God or Human more. In a Cartesian inverse, the best path is to love the human being. Why? Either there is a god or there is not. If there is one god, then by definition all that exists was created by god. To love all human beings is to love the creation of god and, therefore, to love god. If, on the other hand, there is not one creator god, then it is truly ridiculous to love god more than human beings.
