No doubt about it though, today's leader in ATA storage is Maxtor Corp., with an honorable nod going to Big Blue.

Both posts had nice links....thank you. The storagereview site has been very interesting to me. It is such an obviously good idea I wonder why someone didn't think of it before. I have been a continuous visitor there since shortly after they opened for business.
