Sean,

I haven't been on the thread for awhile, so please forgive me if my question is a duplicate...

I tried building a simple scan and discovered what seems to be a QP2 "bug": "low(0) - 1/8" yields only low(0), but "low(0) - 0.125" produces the desired value. I tried parens around the fraction, but it made no difference.

Any clue?

Sean, Thanks for the very detailed response. I am afraid I am one of the "PC is all they see and know. PC = Computer = Windows" people and I really appreciate the fact that "they brought computing into the hands of the people at prices they could afford" and agree that "it time MS cleans up it act and produceses a solid robust OS".

I think it would be forced on MS to do this is most of the people who owned PC's actually used them. The majority just play a game or two or browse the net a little each day so they really don't do the things that cause the problems. The fellow that builds all mine is of the firm opinion that if it will hold up under me 2 days it is a pretty good machine. :-)

Side Note: He had built a couple with the new AMD processors and asked me to try one out. Hell, I had it melted down in short order due to overheating. I ran across one of your posts on the dream machine thread and sent it to him. I now have multiple fans in all mine(not as many as you) and sure has helped.
