Wendy, if you talking about the US, from the current looks of it, you can replace "bounce" with rocket:

Globex S&P, daq, everything is up more than I can ever recall. Then take a look at the rest of the world. Bull trap? Probably.

Chip's Charts Market Internals

The summation index shows the US market is very oversold.

The advance-decline lines show no signs of reversal.

Europe and Asia were strong overnight.

IMHO, there is no way of telling what the market will do over the next week ... Just too many variables, including Greenspan's comments, Starr's report, Russia, Fed/Pro manipulation of the overnight S&P futures, etc.

Best to just wait and go with the flow.
