Mr. Bush and Ms. Fitzgerald never publicly admitted their alleged affair, did they. We have Clinton on record as to Flowers and Lewinsky. Moreover neither Bush nor Fitzgerald submitted false affidavits to a court, lied about an affair under oath and conspired to hide perjury. That's the difference you just don't get. The sex is irrelevant. The rule of law is what matters. JLA

PS With respect to the guy at Oracle, if you marry them, they generally don't sue and also there is a marital privilege that would block testimony. <g>

Michelle, I recall someone reporting that one of the reasons Monica was so despondent after this affair became public was the fact that she and Clinton had future plans together, after his Presidency was over, and that all this publicity would jeopardize it. He made promises to her...that this was more than a sexual relationship...and that she would be a part of his future....not unlike the CEO from Oracle. Only difference being the Oracle guy got a divorce and married her and Clinton, as usual, was lying to Monica. You know how good he is at telling you what you want to hear as opposed to how it really is....just to get what he wants. Enough to make you proud, huh?

Just dropping in here, not staying long....But I do have a few points to make...Some people think that this thing with Clinton is all about Sex....NO! its not, it is about breaking the law...it is about abuse of power...It is about being a habitual Liar....It is about breaking people's trust....It is about using others to cover your ass...It is about being a down right lousy individual that you can't trust.....

Clinton and wife Hillary, Bereft of Support, turn to Supporters on the Internet for Advice

Monday, Sept. 7, 1998

The White House
Washington, DC

When aides spotted on the internet a cookie who hasn't crumbled yet in her unwavering support of President Clinton, the Clintons undertook a search to find the phone number of one Michelle Harris, who frequents a "Sanity Check" conversation thread at the Silicon Investor web site.

Then in a conference call with Michelle on Sunday, the Clintons plaintively sought Ms. Harris' advice as to what should be their next move. "Gosh honey, you're so great", gushed Ms. Clinton. "But we really need your help now", interjected Bill, "what's the next move?".

The unusual call for help demonstrated the fast closing escape routes, and the distinct lack of viable options for the First Couple. But perhaps Ms. Harris will become their Knightess in Shining Armour.

-GG- Whaddya say, Michelle? Up to the task? :-)
