Yeah, most of the neighborhood has been giving him a good-natured ribbing about his bumper sticker for the past year or so. Recently, we've backed off a bit out of respect for his obviously untenable position - he'd pretty much quit defending it since Clinton admitted to a "wrong" affair last month.

I talked to him again about an hour ago. He's really hurt; he's demoralized, he feels betrayed, and he doesn't know where to turn for support. I sure feel sorry for the guy. All he did was believe what Clinton told him.

I just wonder how many others there are like him across the country.
