I don't care what the industry average is. Based upon performance and the need for the company to conserve capital, its way too high by about half. JLA

I don't know what you think my "industry knowledge" is, but here's another link for you. miningusa.com

So if the salaries for these positions are typical and Mr. Nortons position is equivalent then the numbers you quoted are above average.
If his salary is based on experience and workload and that he is dealing in precious metals then it may not be extraordinary.

For the question about his associations, links are available but I didn't find any lists of members which are likely to be too big and variable for a website data base.
