Yes, I have looked at the 1973 charts, but I only have the NYSE not DOW.

If one was to compare the 1973 bear market to the current market, one could make the arguement that we are now at the early JUNE stage of the 73 bear market. One of the reasons I feel that we are at the JUNE stage is the similarity of the NEW HIGHs/NEW LOWS. From that point the market ran up 13% only to drop 18% in the following downside then much further down.

From my earlier posts I would start to get hints of further uptrend if the market would break above the 8300-8400 range.
