You've answered it. Irma Lou is going to vote on the Oprah website about Mary Jean divorcing her gay husband. If you had any concept of just how strongly the soaps influence the lives of millions of addicts who watch them, you wouldn't kid about it. I can use my ex-wife for a testimonial if I promise to up the alimony. For less than $499 or $599 people will buy PCs and educate themselves. Cynic that I am, voice recognition will assist those who refuse to learn to spell. All of us talk except Bill Clinton when he's under oath, and voice recognition will do for PCs what cruise control has done for automobiles on long trips. Who cares if it doesn't really work! It's the sizzle, not the steak. Look at what big Al Greenspan's jawboning has done for world stock markets since he mused about the Fed easing last Friday. None of the fundamentals has changed, but sentiment has.
You've got to realize you're not dealing with logical, sensible, sound decision makers: you're dealing with human beings! Regards, Sam
