has the crash index ever cried wolf and made people miss an up market? i wonder how often it gives a bail out signal. on the other hand, did it get people out before oct 97 ( and back in to catch the updraft)??

Henry - I, too, used their stock system and got mediocre results. In a strongly uptrending market, there are so many stocks to buy that the problem is how to pick the best. I did not have very good luck culling all those stocks to a manageable number. After I attempted that, using various methods, I still came up with mediocre results (paper trading).

Does anyone have any suggestions on how best to reduce the number to 2-3 stocks per week and still get good results?
