Hi Sergio, No lowering short term interest rates will only add fuel to the inferno of far Too much credit and far Too little personal savings...

The problems of the worlds economies are not due to any one simple wrong move on the part of these countries leaders, but are an accumulation of politically correct things done at economically wrong times over and over again...

Add to this the greed of the banking and finance world throwing credit at countries and industries who have hapitually done business in an unprofitable and often subsidised ways...only added insult to injury...

The result, is now finger pointing buy the worlds leaders as who is to blame...not coming up with workable solutions to begin mitigating these snowballing problems...

Because of this, I foresee a world depression and a recession in the US short term, that will more than likely not be avertable at this late stage in the game unfortunately...

Sure wish I saw it differantly, and hope that I'm wrong but not willing to bet against it...

I see a DOW below 6000 in the coming months...

Later
