When the flow into US$ reverses, and I think it has, then the unwinding of the positions that inflated its value will pull it down hard.

BUT, let's say things in Asia don't really improve, and frankly I don't see why they should do. Continued deflation? Leading, maybe, to hyperinflation--a very REAL danger that I don't think enough's been made of? Then what?

US bonds as a safe haven? The dollar as a (relatively) safe currency?

(Edit: For anyone who cares, Globex trading going gangbusters. Not surprising, but will it last?)

I haven't made my mind up yet...
