Had a little too much time on my hands today so I reinstalled the latest update and checked out the files that were changed. Found that comctl32.dll is the only file that was preventing boot-up....

What version was comctl32.dll? I would urgently like to know. Given that I had IE 4.0? and Outlook installed prior to to upgrade I would have thought bases were covered but you appear to have evidence to the contrary.
