While I am a novice,I do talk to as many people as I can. I have been hearing that AMAT can be had for $12 to may be $15 by the end of october. I have been hearing that INTC AMAT CSCO & MSFT are the LOVE CHILDREN of the Tech Investors. While the price of MSFT can be justified the other are grossly overvalued. All your comments will be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou
Robert

Helllo all!

What will happen if, as we head to Q4 earnings, there is no warning from AMAT and, dare I say, a positive comment ("we believe we have hit bottom" or some such) from Morgan? Is this possible given the recent layoffs and pay cuts, or am I wistling past the graveyard?
I was tempted to buy AMAT puts last month but did not (should have).
If the report is really bad, then can we assume the recovery is more towards late '99?

By the way...I stuck my hand into the abyss last week for 100 shares of KLAC when she made a new low. Don't tell Bill O'Neil, I'm sure he'll cancel my subscription to IBD.
