Luc, John etc,

I regret to say that the TSE has introduced guidelines
regulating electronic communications that explicitly
recommends against companies posting on chat-group
forums.

I made a number of suggestions as to how to possibly
address your comments without contravening these regulations
but after submitting it to the legal authorities, I was
turned down.

Unless the TSE guidelines are revised, we are unable to
post on this forum without penalty. This doesn't mean
we've gone into hiding - Chris Cory and I are always
available to investors at 416-777-0001 or you can
e-mail us at invest@ipsautomation.com. As John pointed
out, some of your questions are best reserved for the
AGM where I hope to meet you.

Flora

IPS Automation Receives $570,000 Order For Cartoning
Systems

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--

- UNIQUE FEATURES ELIMINATE PRODUCT SCRAP, REDUCE COSTS -

Image Processing Systems Inc. (TSE:IPV)-under its trade name IPS
Automation-announced today that their wholly-owned subsidiary,
Chicago-based Tisma Machinery Corporation (TMC), received an
order-worth $570,000-from a major US confectionery manufacturer.
The order includes a high-speed TMC Series 400, which will be used
to carton pouches of a popular candy.

"This superior cartoning solution gives our customers a
competitive advantage. Our patented MemoryTrack(R) component
integrates with a computer scale that delivers pouched product to
a MemoryTrack(R) bucket. This unique feature holds the product
and places it into the first available carton. Competing systems
don't detect the carton and simply dump the product. Our system
saves money by reducing scrap and scrap-related maintenance," says
Terry Derrico, TMC Chief Operating Officer. He adds that, "We had
a banner second quarter-we sold a total of five high-speed
vertical cartoners to three different customers."

"This customer has been doing business with TMC for the past eight
years and is very satisfied with our innovative solutions," says
Terry Graham, IPS Chairman & President. "We respond quickly with
an intense level of service that creates brand loyalty and
generates repeat sales."

TMC is recognized worldwide as a leader in the design and
manufacture of high-speed, gentle handling packaging equipment.
IPS Automation is a Markham, Ontario based company and it
