Yep, have read a bunch of Ed McBain.

I used to be a voracious reader but it bothers my eyes to read too much now. My pattern was to find a paperback I liked and then go to the library and read all that they had from that author. McBain, I'd get get four and two days later get four. Went through Mitchners "Centennial" in 24 straight hours.

Also bought books by the carload. Favorite author? Used to be Forsythe during the cold war and now probably is Wambaugh now that he is drinking again. Oddball police stories that are actually believable. Oh, and if Carl Hiassen writes it I buy it. Florida stuff and I live in Illinois.

I loved the book "When She was Bad", forgot the author as his other books were crap but he did have one interesting book.
