Your remedy also works well for quieting rather large fish and believe me they are thankful to be sedated before coming under the hand of the filet knife. I share your philosophy of love and find this methodology for the best as I do believe that the fish also feels pain. Some out here in the wilds are of the opinion that the fish does not feel pain as one never hears a fish scream.

Therefore, I say if Mr. Rosen ever comes around again in need of a sedative, brandish your billy club!

I don't think loving one person (you know who that is, jokester) qualifies you as a man of love. People normally equate violence with evil and love with good. You are evil hence you must be a man of violence.
