I don't think we will see any move on interest rates this year. The US economy is going along ok, and Greenspan will not want to fuel the markets past their old highs. I know the fed's job is to fight inflation and market levels are officially not a consideration. But with the overall earnings picture in the dumpster for at least the next few quarters, there is absolutely no need to create a feeding frenzy with no fundamental foundation.
