Gold has been sought after and held by wealthseekers for centuries. In fact, nothing has inspired more poetry, larceny and mania than the noble metal.

Again, I would like to say, Asians LOVE gold, and
as the prices drop
and mines close down. The likelihood of a buying
spree is destined to happend.I would say right now
the Asians in general are too concerned about the
on-going daily news of currency loses. So buying
gold isn't a priority. But in the coming months as
things stablize and they all see that life goes on, the temptation to buy at such a cheap price for
Gold will cause a run-up.
But I also think the Defaltion argument has a lot
of merit. Gold is a inflation hedge not a deflation
hedge. Read the follwoing article.
