To bad they did a remake of 101 Dalmatians,it has been tough on the breed. Same thing happened to Old English Sheepdogs(had one growing up), they became very popular after one won the "Big Show".The result was uncontrolled breeding and a weakening of the breed.Have read a few articles about that situation with Dalmatians.I can't breed with papers, my Malamute,he is to big for the standard. He's a bit to tall and about 40#s to heavy....DD PS as most small towns, our fire dept. has a Dalmatian<g>..'Nite
