Well Funk...I don't use soes or webstreet and I don't think webstreet has soes trading. I use Dreyfus and I buy at bid everyday...but they do not have soes trading and I do know you can execute @ bid w/webstreet as well...so it is free...I don't know how fast their executions are...but from what I've heard about them I imagine they are as good as anyone. I don't know anything about Webstreet compromising executions whatever that means? I have had Dreyfus improve my bid. As far as I know you can buy @ bid w/ soes. Why not? I am assuming I am buying at best market. W/O L3 I don't know who is filling my orders and generally I don't care. Maybe your inside bids w/ soes/ecn are better than I'm getting. But I watch the Time/sales so I can't imagine I'm doing so badly.I generally don't see trades less than the bid going thru? Besides I don't trade 1/4 points....I prefer 2-4 points. But I do try to get in as cheaply as possible but I don't give a shit about 1/16. With SOES/ecn trading are you saying your buying between the bid/ask? Jeff
