Steve, the european quotes on OS stocks are slightly up but no show stopper. It will have to come back to the US for direction. If there are trading gaps this morning, I expect that gap to be filled intraday. Buying at the open is generally a bad idea.

Doc - the Miyasawa article about no rate cut is a moot point I think. The street already "heard" Greenspan hinting at a rate cut. The first half of today is likely a +200-300 pointer. The second half of the day will be interesting. If things give back their gains towards the end of the day, I definitely don't want to hang on to any longs overnight.
