Quadrant International Appoints Sharon Taylor as Product Line Manager; Taylor Brings Extensive Experience in DVD and Telecommunications Product Development and Marketing to QI

MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 8, 1998--Quadrant International (QI), an expert provider of software and hardware digital video solutions, announced the appointment of Sharon Taylor to the position of product line manager. Taylor will market the company's consumer electronics technologies and will oversee the development of QI's solutions for consumer set-top boxes and televisions, integrating features such as digital television (DTV), digital satellite (DSS) and digital versatile disc (DVD) players.

"As QI leads the digital video industry into the next millennium, we need professionals with a vision and an understanding of the consumer digital video marketplace," said Leonard Sharp, vice president of sales and marketing at Quadrant International. "Sharon's recent experience demonstrates that she has the qualities we need to market QI's innovative digital video solutions. We are pleased to add a professional of her caliber to our management team."

Taylor joins QI from Toshiba America Consumer Products, where she served as the Director of Product Marketing for DVD, VCR and Cordless Phones. Among other responsibilities, she coordinated product design, positioning and promotion with retail customers, Japanese engineering and customer service. Previous to Toshiba, Taylor held a variety of marketing, management and sales positions for AT&T and CIDCO Inc.
