El... "biggest loser that I have ever bought!"

I guess you didn't buy SOC, CD, IOM, etc.

I'm not sure of your investment or trading strategy; or time
horizon, however, look at this way.

Looking at CPQ stock price history there have been several instances
where the stock has not gone up for 1+ years.

Considering the overall market, 80% stocks down over 25% in the last year, CPQ with its DEC acquisition has not performed that badly.
Its relative stock strength in early August and also the
last couple of days last week, I see a positive sign.
There have been several analyst upgrades in the past several months
as well.

It is too early for me to make that assessment so early in my investment process.

My perspective: Held some shares for over a year. Now 7K @ under 30
cost basis. When I desire the money years from now I hope to have a
considerable gain. Until then I will monitor CPQ company and stock.

Any thoughts?

Loki

EL..Took the Dell post split bounce and put it all in more CPQ, 31 3/16. Just can't find more value than what we have right here. Hope I'm right.
