I have Nuts & Bolts and like it. Overall it's been well reviewed. A mag review of individual utilities, however, toprated it for harddrive fixes only and correctly pointed out that it's defrag is slow, albeit effective. I've only got about 1.5 megs of stuff on the HD and to completely reorder and defrag this takes about 45 minutes. Defragging w/o reordering takes only a couple minutes. Interestingly, the same review I believe said that there's no significant advantage to the way it (and other programs, including 98 I believe) will reorder files during defrag (this is an option in N&B), but this seems to help a little every few weeks. Norton's defrag was top rated BTW, as it should be since I believe it's the old PCTools technology, and it was great...extremely fast. (Wish PCTools was still around.) Frankly, Nuts&Bolts does lots of other things that are a little beyond me, like "Register Clean" automatically or manually, and provides lots of system info/testing capabilities.
